Covid-19 Safety Protocol
Our office is committed to the highest standard of dentistry and that includes taking all additional measures to ensure the health and wellness of our amazing patients and brave staff. Below is a list of the changes we have made to ensure every single person feels safe in our office.
Pre-Screening Form
An electronic form to screen for COVID-19 is emailed to our patients one day prior to the dental appointment. Questions include common symptoms of COVID-19 as well questions pertaining recent travel activity.
Patient Protection Protocol
Face Masks are required upon entering our office, only to be removed when reaching the treatment room.
When patients are checked in at the front desk, they are instructed to follow a sequence of procedures including hand sanitation, non-contact temperature readings, and an antimicrobial mouth rinse.
Social Distancing Practices
No more hugs and handshakes for now!
- In the past, our patients were greeted with a handshake by our clinical staff and escorted down the hallway to their treatment rooms. Now, patients will be directed to their treatment room.
- If avoidable, parents and family members are asked to not enter operatories.
Scheduling Changes
Morning appointments are prioritized for patients who are over the age of 60 as well as those who have kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes or auto-immune disorders.
Appointments are spaced to limit contact between patients.
Air Purification
We have installed a medical-grade HEPA air filter and configured our HVAC system for negative pressure and ionization.
Additional P.P.E for our Clinical Team
Our Clinical team members are outfitted with CDC-approved P.P.E from head to toe. Face-shields, gowns and all!
Frequent Disinfection of All Areas
As before, all treatment rooms are sterilized with OSCHA-approved disinfection products. Throughout the day, our team disinfects common areas and high-use surfaces like doorknobs. Our cleaning crew comes in after close to thoroughly clean all surfaces.
